Output: Provincial Disaster and Climate Risk and Resilience Assessment of B.C.

 

Sage Role: Sahar Safaie was the project principal and technical lead for DCRRA. She and her team at Sage designed the Framework, guided the larger team and partners, and managed the process for the Provincial Phase, which included engaging with more than 200 knowledge holders and experts. The project governance structure included working groups for each of the seven hazards and six value areas of health, society and culture, natural environment, built environment, economy and governance, as well as an Equity Diversity and Inclusion committee, geospatial and mapping working group, and climate change influence expert working group. The project is implemented by a large number of sub-consultants with various areas of expertise led by Sahar and her team at Sage.
